Ancient postpartum traditions throughout the world—while specific to the cultural context in which they come—all share deep common roots. These traditions are rooted in women’s physiologic design.

The commonalities of the world’s postpartum traditions include:

 ✨ An extended resting period

 ✨ Warmth

 ✨ Specific foods

 ✨ Healing bodywork

 ✨ Supportive community

For both short and long term female health.

INNATE Postpartum Care Community Education Series is a 5-class series that helps mothers & families prepare for the postpartum period.

In Community we will:

🦋 Learn the 5 essentials of postpartum healing

🦋 Create and fortify our support networks

🦋 Develop a postpartum plan that meets the needs of your unique family

“Shirin and Amy's postpartum class was one of the best prenatal investments I made.”

Planning for the Fourth Trimester Class is for pregnant people and their partners or other members of their support team. The price includes the birthing person and one other team member, but additional support persons may join at an additional cost.

Birthing persons MUST be no more than 35 weeks pregnant at the start of our first class.

This Course is for you if…

  • You are a birthing person, partner to a birthing person, or a part of the inner circle of support for a birthing person

  • You intuitively know that baby’s health is contingent upon parents’ health

  • You know that thriving health is humanity’s birthright

  • You know that women’s physiological design is inherently wise and you want to create the right environment to allow the body to thrive and heal

  • You want to mark this time of transformation with ceremony and honor yourself as a new mother

  • You want to create authentic community

  • You are no more than 35 weeks pregnant at the start of our first class

This Course is not for you if…

  • You are a doula or professional perinatal provider

  • You’d prefer to solely rely on your OBGYN and pediatrician for healthcare advice

  • You don’t want to carve out time for your own wellness practices

  • You don’t want to spend time planning for your fourth trimester and would rather wing it

  • You don’t want to ask for help from your partner or community

  • You aren’t interested in the ancient wisdom of cross-cultural postpartum care traditions

  • You are more than 35 weeks gestation at the start of our first class
