Infant Developmental Movement Education

I’m thrilled to get certified as an IDME early next year!

IDME is a child-led approach to movement development that offers guidance to caregivers on how best to support their child's movement in the first year of life. 

Did you know that in the first year of life babies are working incredibly hard to integrate their reflexes and find pathways of movement that are ingrained deep in their DNA?

In order to become certified as an IDME, I need to observe and interact with many, many babies.

If you’ve had a baby in the last year or so (birth to early walking stage), and you live in the NYC area, I would love to visit you and your baby for 30-60 min and see what they’re up to. 

I am happy to offer tips on holding, picking up, and putting your baby down, supporting their innate development through movement landmarks, and how best to supporting healthy nervous system regulation.
